AlminarAcademy Quran Program – Reading, Tajweed and Hifz
Our Qur'an program grew out of the Tahfeedul Quran tradition. Students build a lifelong connection with the Book of Allah while keeping up with a strong academic schedule.
What Students Learn in the AlminarAcademy Quran Program
Every student starts where they are. A short placement session tells our teachers whether your child needs to begin with the Arabic letters or is ready to work on fluency, Tajweed or memorization.
Qur'an Reading Foundations
Beginners learn to recognise and pronounce the Arabic letters, join them into words and read short verses accurately.
Tajweed
Students learn the rules of correct recitation – articulation points, elongation, and the rules of noon and meem – and apply them in daily reading.
Hifz (Memorization)
Students who are ready begin memorizing, starting with short surahs and progressing at a pace that suits each child.
Meaning and Character
Lessons connect recitation to meaning, so students understand the messages they memorize and carry them into their manners and daily choices.
How Hifz Works at AlminarAcademy
Memorizing the Qur'an is a long journey, and steady revision matters as much as new lessons. Our teachers follow a proven three-part routine:
New Lesson (Sabaq)
A new portion is learned each day, with the teacher listening carefully for accuracy and Tajweed.
Recent Revision (Sabqi)
The most recently memorized pages are reviewed daily so they stay fresh and firm.
Long-Term Revision (Manzil)
Older portions are revisited on a rotating schedule so nothing that has been memorized is lost.
Because Al-Minar Academy started as a homeschool program for Tahfeedul Quran students, we understand how to balance Hifz with Math, Science and other subjects. Students do not have to choose between memorizing the Qur'an and excelling academically.
